Thank you for your interest in the role of Chief Education Officer at Brigantia Learning Trust.
This is a pivotal appointment for our Trust and, most importantly, for the diverse communities we proudly serve.
Having worked in education for over 35 years across a range of settings, I bring a clear understanding of where we are as a Trust and what we are determined to achieve. Our purpose is rooted in advancing equity, inclusion, and ambition—securing social mobility and social justice so that every young person, regardless of background, can access opportunity and achieve their full potential.

In this context, we are seeking a Chief Education Officer to work alongside our outstanding Principals and Directors of Learning. We are looking for an energetic, values-driven leader who will champion our commitment to equity and inclusion, while driving ambitious outcomes for all. The successful candidate will lead improvement across the Trust, ensuring that high standards are not the exception, but the entitlement of every learner.
You will join a Trust that is strong, values-led, and moving forward with clarity and purpose. You will have the support of Trustees and the Executive Team, alongside the autonomy to lead as an empowered Chief Education Officer—shaping the next phase of our development and ensuring our principles are translated into impact.
